So i know i haven’t uploaded in forever and im truely sorry for that. Alot has happened in the past couple of weeks. I’m really stoked to see where god is taking me. He has blessed me so so so much i dont deserve it. My faith may not be as strong but i know god loves me for who i am and what i do. I try hard to keep my faith alive. But im human and i can only do so much. But I know i love my God and I will continue to put my faith in him till i die. An update on whats going on, I’m heading into the studio tomorrow with my band The Autumn Gate. I’m super excited for this. We’ve been together for over a year now and God has blessed us so much. He’s been there for us when we were at the bottom. Like i said im super super excited for this record. ever since I got into music i’ve always dreamed of recording and now i get my chance its just so unreal. Also last night i was on the radio with the band and it was such an amazing experience. We broke the record for most listeners at Ksu Radio and We made the front page of Stickam.com Which was exciting. Anyways I’m gonna try and update this while im recording and let you guys see what goes down in the studio. Anyways if i can have you guys pray for us as we go into the studio.

We Await the Dawn

So there’s this song called We Await the Dawn by Horse and Rider and its really really Amazing. Like evertime I listen to it i feel God…If you haven’t listened to it you seriously need to listen to it. So here lately God has been so awesome..He’s always been awesome but i’ve been too stupid to realize it…I found out that my little brother got saved. and if you know anything about me or my family, they aren’t the brighetest crayons in the box. but it was just amazing to have my brother tell me that he got saved. Its been my prayer for like two years now. now only to get my dad and step mom. which will take alot but i know god can do great things. I’ve been really thinking about my relationship with christ and i feel really bad for the things i’ve done. I know he forgives me for what i’ve done. But here lately i’ve just realized that i’ve grown so much in him, and it makes me excited for what is to come. Usually i wouldn’t be too excited but idk it makes me pumped. and it inspires me. We’ll see what happens, I know god will always be there for me. anyways i’m outta here..i wanted to share a little bit on my heart.

Music to my ears

Well I know i haven’t updated in FOREVER but that’s okay. I’ve been extremely busy. Kinda give you an update on whats going on with my life…Basically I’ve been with the band. Just had a show this past sat. with a band called Since October(tooth&nail) and to be honest i did not like them. Ever since I’ve been in the band I’ve became an extreme music critic. To me all the songs sounded the same. and the bass was up way to loud. I don’t see how they are signed but i guess since they sounded very generic that’s what makes money for the labels these days. Sometimes i find labels really annoying because 1.) They sign bands who I think shouldn’t be signed 2.) Its all about money 3.) I’m not sure exactly what else. haha i guess i don’t have a very good argument right now..considering its almost 2 o’clock in the morning. But anyways ever since I’ve joined the band its made me respect music that is great so much more than music that is simply simple and generic. Lately I’ve been wanting some new stuff to listen too and I think to myself wow i really don’t know what to listen too. But I have been listening to the Chariot alot lately and I really love them. so i don’t know what else to write so i guess I’m gonna stop now.

So this is my first post. I’ve been thinking about doing one and just trying to figure out what to say but i couldn’t come up with anything. But I did decide that one day I will look back on this and think “I wrote this?” but anywho….This reminds me of zanga a little bit but more on the grown up side.

I will try to update this as much as possible.

Here are a few thoughts that I have been thinking about lately…

1) I want to go read my bible in different places. For example…at a Coffee shop, Wal-Mart, the Park, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, and etc…. you get the idea. I dont know why but I just feel like it.

2) My future. I have no idea what I am going to be doing but I’ve been thinking about it.

3) My faith. I said to myself at the beginning of the year that i would try and get closer to God than ever before and I have yet to do it. This past year was a bad year but yet good year at the same time and i want this year to just blow out of the water. I can feel something that is there i just have yet to figure it out. I will though.

4) Prayer. I rarely do this because I always come up with an excuse. I know i have to start praying if I want to get closer to God.

5) Music. Ever since I joined The Autumn Gate, my passion is alot stronger than it ever has. But also I look at music from a different perpesctive. Its hard for me to worship at church because I’m always picking out the flaws in it. But when I’m playing, I get to worship.

6) Life. Who doesn’t think about life? I always think what it would be like if i did this or if i didn’t do this. I think about the next girl that I am going to date which I have no idea who that will be. Life is a good thing.

I believe that is all for right now. I’m going to try and be a light today so we’ll see how that goes.
